Pi yellow lighning bolt

Tue Aug 07, 2018 9:51 am

Hi guys

Wondering if you can help I recently purchased a raspberry pi b3 + and a SanDisk 128gb card.
I also acquired a 128gb image of retropie I have written the image to the memory card which was successful but when I turn on the pi I get a black screen with a yellow lighning bolt in the top right corner
I have a 5v 2.5a power supply and it works with the 64gb memory card I use in my other pi
So I would appreciate some help if any of you can thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Does the 64gb card work in your new 3B+ ?
Sounds like the 128gb image isn't up to date, ie it doesn't support the new 3B+.....

I suspect the "other pi" is not a 3B+.
