How are you writing an O.S. to the card? If you use an image (*.img file) based method/tool you should not need to (re-)format the card as the image writing tools overwrite everything eg.: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... /README.md
and, FWIW, an example of "the process", with screenshots, here: http://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi ... tcher.html
Trev.
Still running Raspbian Jessie on some older Pi's (an A, B1, B2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W) but Stretch on my 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, A+ and a B2. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm

If you are writing images you do not need to format the card each time. The images each contain their own file system which will overwrite whatever is on the card. I recommend a tool called Etcher for writing images. https://etcher.io/

Formatting is only needed when installing NOOBS.

If you want to recover the full capacity of your card for other use, use the SD Memory Card Formatter utility from the SD Association.

My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?

ok, thanks, I'll try,
I use win32diskimager, will make the same effect than with etcher? Yes, I have read something about rewriting the current card, but as the computer shows me as I have different SD cards, when I try to rewrite the sd it makes me chose a specific volume and I don't know which one case, it's usually shown as "boot" and another removable without name or gb, I imagine it's the one without name because the boot one is about 40mb.

The one you want is the one labelled ‘boot’ as it is the first partition on the SD card. Writing the image will overwrite any partitions already existing but you want to make sure you start from the beginning of the card.

You will probably find Etcher as being easier to use than win32diskimaher. It does a verify phase after writing, and also you can write from the ZIP download of the image file as Etcher handles the unzip internally. When using Etcher it always shows the full size of the SD device (regardless of any partitioning) so it is easier to be sure you are using the correct target for the SD card.

You do not format the card first with either win32diskimager or etcher.
