connecting to iphone hot spot - Solved

Sat Dec 10, 2016 4:44 pm

Has anyone seen this ? - when I try to connect to my iphone as a hot spot , I see it in the list of available connection but when I put the password in I get an error box in the middle of the screen with say "Er...ork" in the title and "invalid argument" in the main part of the box.

I think I had this working before with a Pi but not with any recent Raspbian versions - it is a Pi zero running the latest NooBs Raspbian

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Solved,

Sorted it out this morning - the problem seems to have been down to the name I had given my iphone which included spaces and a inverted comma. Changing it remove these seems to have fixed the problem and I can connect without a problem. So my IoT controlled Christmas jumper is now back on track for the Christmas party season - Yay
