Can't get program colortest with apt-get

Sun Dec 13, 2015 4:05 pm

I have trouble installing the program "colortest". When I do

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install colortest
, the program is found and seemingly installed, but it seems the executable file is not installed. I can't run colortest from the command line. Not even the manpage is there. I search for the file with

Code: Select all

find / -name colortest
, but found only some doc file.

If you look at the files in the colortest package (https://packages.debian.org/jessie/all/ ... t/filelist), you'll see the commands available are:
colortest-16
colortest-16b
colortest-256
colortest-8

They might be listed in the README file /usr/share/doc/colortest/README (I haven't got it installed, otherwise I would check)
