There have been updates to Raspbian including CUPS so:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
If CUPS still does not show the HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw you will need to install a newer version of HPLIP than is supplied with Raspbian Wheezy, "Download HPLIP" from

http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/mo ... 276nw.html

Use the "The HPLIP Automatic Installer"

Hey,

I have downloaded the hplip-3.16.2.run file

I copied it to the /home/pi diretory and switched into that directory
this seems to work (sh hplip-3.16.2.run)
until I was asked for a superuser / root password, which I do not have.

What do I have to do now?

Did you give yourself permissions ?

Code: Select all

sudo usermod -a -G lpadmin pi
pi is the default user of Raspbian !
