placing and removing display to use for other projects

Thu Oct 01, 2015 10:17 pm

Hello,

My Raspberry Pi 7" inch is arriving today as well as a GPIO kit for other projects,
My question is: Does the Display rbbon and the touch screen ribbon cable can be removed without any pressure damage after connecting into J4 clip?
Will it be safe to reconnect to display without any issues?

Thanks :D

Any connector fitment/removal will introduce wear 'n' tear to those components. However if you are careful they will survive many 100's of connection/disconnection times before failure,
in my experience.
