Touch function only works in one third of the screen

Fri Sep 25, 2015 6:20 pm

I put all the parts together (Display, adapter board, RPi 1 B+, no overclocking) installed latest Raspian, updated & upgraded.
Everything works fine except one issue: the touch function only works in the right third of the screen.
I am able to move the mouse cursor in that area, nothing happens in the remaining 2/3. Same with the kivy samples.

I disassembled, put things together again, checked cables,... that did not resolve the issue.

Any clue?

If it only works in one third of the screen I can only assume that the capacitive touch sensor is broken somewhere (that's the little chip on the flexible printed circuit board.

I'd suggest you RMA it
