Re: Using an iPad/iPhone/Something as a display?

@davesedar, I don't know about that one, but for example, I have an old Philips Carin gps nav system, and its display works with separate video input. That would work, but at a very low resolution, good for a SD video player maybe.

Re: Interesting Thing I found on eBay.

@mole125: I agree, it's risky.

For battery operation, I'd recommend a regulator built on something like the LM3668 .

The image shows the 3.3V variant, it also has a 5V/1A version, it's a very simple circuit to build, if you can get the LM.

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates

I've just got this email today from Farnell:

"Congratulations - Farnell element14 will deliver your Pi to you around early June".

I've placed my pre-order on the 5th of March, I'm from Romania.

Re: LCD / LVDS Interface for Raspberry Pi

I couldn't find not one MIPI DSI lcd panel using google search.

There is a chip made by Toshiba that can convert MIPI DSI to LVDS, but it's a  P-TFBGA package, impossible to DIY.

Anybody knows at least one compatible display for the MIPI DSI connector?
