Re: Bluetooth broken in latest releases

Hi,

Just nabbed the 3.10.33 source, as of today and patched it as above... Lots of new PiCam goodness to enjoy... :D

Do a rpi-update first then apply the patch..

Re: Bluetooth dongle questions

Hiya, Just had a look at the latest source for the Kernel and the bluetooth stuff has not been changed, so I would suggest it's still broken... I patched the 3.10.27 release, that was Jan time, you can find my bits here:- http://www.raspberrypi.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=492275#p492275 Or if need be ...

Atari 7800 (ProSystem)

Hi, Having a poke about it looks like MESS is the only "debian'ish" thing that can emulate the 7800, but apparently the emulation is broken on the Pi.. I was wondering how hard it would be to Port from the Nintendo Wii (Home-brew) to the Pi as there is quite a good 7800 emulator there... Is it a rea...

Re: MAME4ALL for Pi

@James Keep in mind that MAME4ALL, AdvancedMAME, FBA will all have different ROM requirements and wont play nicely with each others ROM sets... I have 3 sets 0.36, 0.106 & latest for the various emulators out there and point the emulator at the set closest to the release it was based on.... I keep t...

Hi,

You are not the only one, it refuses to see my ps3 controller where as advancedmame does.

Reading the link it should have been fixed in the latest version, I've been using a pimame image so may not have the latest will try updating during the week, retroarch is compiling at the moment.

Hi, Been trying without success to get MAME4ALL to load ROMs from a network share.... Re: Showtime on Raspberry Pi

Hi,
Had a little play with this, it's ok, lightweight fitted on a 1gig card and played out the box, even upnp.

Didn't seem to find my wifi dongle though, nor my mouse, no shutdown either. Apart from that good effort.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Well sounds like you have got the Pi set up correctly so good job there. I think the problem lies in either the address you gave your brother or with the port forwarding rules you set up in your router. Need to know roughly what you set your router up with and what you sent Bro to really get a handl...

I've had it running with OpenElec and a Artec TV dongle, you WILL need the MPEG 2 license though WILL NOT work without it... TVHeadEnd was a pain to setup as well, chances are you will have to input the transmitter info yourself, not a hard job, google is your friend. Good place to start with USB do...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Firstly much kudos to silvanmelchior for a fantastic installation, this really should be a sticky or separate page somewhere !!!

Secondly @bigspottycat, tried your preview page but it didn’t seem to like FireFox, I got the preview images but no buttons, any ideas ?

Regards,
Martin.
