Re: Robotic arm

Hi, The guide below uses a Python and a PS3 controller but it should be a fairly simple job to replace the PS3 calls with others... I've uses it with the PS3 controller and it works great http://www.mybigideas.co.uk/RPi/RobotArm/# This is a bit more basic but may be of help.... http://www.wikihow.co...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi,

In the first post of the thread I think...
If you want to remove the interface completely, run "./RPi_Cam_Browser_Control_Installer.sh remove". Attention: It removes all files in /var/www.

Hi, I'm on "Linux raspberrypi 3.12.31+ #718 PREEMPT Sat Oct 25 16:09:41 BST 2014" with a 'B and it's working fine, raspstill has taken 3000 images and counting for a time lapse of the tide coming in and out.... Re: Unable to launch Chocolate Doom after install on Raspbia

Don't think that will work, you will need to be on the local machine or use vnc. X11 forwarding may work but will be slow. Edit:- X11 forwarding and connecting with vnc both worked but you really won't be able to play the game like that, you are going to need a monitor. A shell connection with putty...

Re: Unable to launch Chocolate Doom after install on Raspbia

Hmmm strange, how did you run it, from desktop (after startx) ? I think it needs X running so try from a terminal window on ya desktop.

yea had it running tonight. I've created a .deb file if you want to try that, will put it up somewhere tomorrow.

Re: RPi connects to the network but cannot be ping'ed

Hi, I had a similar issue when connected with WiFi, I could see the world (ping external sites) but could not ping or SSH into the Pi, connecting with Ethernet it worked fine. It seems to be an issue introduced in the September release of Raspbian, releases prior to that worked fine, for me its rela...

Hi, Forgive me if this is a stupid question, and I suppose for reviving a necrothread, however.... Hi, Again thanks for the reply. Well it looks like its compiling now, I needed the GTK-dev packages, wasn't sure if I needed 2 or 3 so threw both at the Pi, ./configure then worked without complaining... Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Re: Problem with WiFi after updating raspbian

Hi,

I've just re-flashed with the 24/12/13 raspbian image, with that the rt2800usb drive shows no errors in the kernel log, throughput is about 20% better and CPU load about 20% less. I suspect things broke in the September release though.

If I get time I'll try track down where the issue lies....

Hi, Could you post the output of dmesg, this sound like an issue I've seen since 'upgrading', this would confirm it, lsusb would be handy as well... Has anyone got any news ?
