Re: State of Wayland/Weston?

Hi,

An old thread I know, but didn't see the sense in starting a new one, looks like the status has gone from hiatus to buried....

Any thoughts on this ?

Sweet !!!!!

Quick question though, what you you use to package into a .deb, did you use checkinstall ? You recommended it to me in a previous tread but I cannot get a working .deb from my compiled version of filezilla.

Re: Compile and Create a .DEB Package

Hi,

Taking FileZilla as the example, on the image that I have compiled it on it works fine after make install, however, using the .deb from checkinstall on a clean image it does not work...

I will double check tonight in case it's a case of idiot behind keyboard.

Re: Compile and Create a .DEB Package

Hi gkreidl, That is exactly the problem I'm seeing, I've seen the option where you can add a dependants, but a real noob question here, what is the best way of finding out what needs to be included in the package ? Filezilla is my example, it needs libfilezilla but even though I've installed both (s...

Not a showstopper, but poweroff command leaves the green LED on. Also noticed this and was going to post a comment. Both the red and green LEDs stay on when using the sudo shutdown command. Same here, I also didnt notice any kind of activity whilst I was booted in Ubuntu, just the red power LED, th...

Hi,

I have the Maplin arm, and used the above code, there were also some instructions to use a PS3 controller to control the arm, that was quite cool....

Ubuntu MATE

Hi, A wee bit of feeback, I tried the Ubuntu MATE image over the weekend and what a joy that is, HUGE kudos to the team that put it together for the Pi, worked seamlessly out of the box. Re: Compile TBB on raspberry 2

Just to elaborate, the build of TTB seems to go OK, In the TBB build directory I’ve tried running generate_tbbvars.sh, this will only run as sudo, not sure if that’s causing the issue with paths. In par2cmdline-0.4 I have ran ./configure , this seems to go OK, and then make... Make exits immediately...
