Re: Helping out with R-Pi hosting

Hopefully the Foundation will publish any files/docs/images via Bittorrent. That way we can all help seed and their web server won't have to take the load.

There must be plenty of people reading this with resources to throw into the mix so the Foundation just have to ask

Re: Too much focus on programming?

<t>bredman, no need to apologise. You aren't wrong and it's always good to remind people that getting a decent set of requirements is more important than the programming. Many programmers just don't bother with this "boring" it.<br/> <br/> ... but the PI is just a piece of the whole design sequence....

I signed up for the mailing list a while ago but haven't received anything. When was the last email sent out?

I don't want to miss any important announcements! I'm sure you can all guess what announcement is of particular interest

<t>I bought two of them this afternoon.<br/> <br/> The documentation does not make it clear. However I plugged in my HTC Desire and checked the "Battery Status" settings. Re: How many do you invision purchasing?

Just the one to start with. No point being greedy in the opening months because any extras you buy is depriving someone else of a chance to use one. Sort of goes against the spirit.

Once I've got one actually doing a task, I'll get another one later in the year for development.

Re: Creating Account In The Shop

I just created an account in the raspberrypi.com shop.

South Gloucestershire isn't listed as a county. Even Avon isn't there!

Please can you update the list so us in the Northern reaches of Bristol can push back the bounds of science

Thanks.
