Re: Early RPi 2 randomly segmentation faults process

So the white latches are just to point out it's one of the first RPi 2 out of the factory. And not the same factory as todays RPi 2, the metal on the HDMI port is different too (matte aluminium instead of dark shiny). Edit: Precisely AndyD. I have changed nothing, it has been running flawlessly for ...

Early RPi 2 randomly segmentation faults process

The RPi 2 I bought directly after release from pimoroni has started behaving weirdly.

It has black camera and screen latches instead of white.

Anyone had the same experience?

My other 4x RPi 2 (white latches) are 100% stable.

Pi Screen Bezel

Is there a good reason for that black bezel around the screen?

Can it be removed in future versions?

Heap Dump

I'm trying to dump the heap on my raspberry pi's, and it takes forever; like 10 minutes which is unacceptable on live machines, anyone have a clue why its so slow?

Just to complete the picture, the Rift or Vive are never going to run on a raspberry pi. They have closed source hardware drivers.

The LWJGL guys are busy, but if someone can lend them some help that would be awesome since OpenAL and joystick support are good to have in VR! http://forum.lwjgl.org/index.php?topic=4801.msg31508#msg31508 If the LWJGL guys somehow get this up and running and my game runs at some kind of framerate o...

Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr

Sweet! So does it only support OpenGL 2 or can my game http://aeonalpha.com that uses OpenGL 1 mostly (I use shaders for VR barrel and chromatic aberration) run on this. Is it hard to port this to LWJGL or do I need to switch to JOGL? BTW if this can run old OpenGL I'm going to build a Pi VR headset...

Is says 496592 on the 512MB RPi 1.

Now the RPi 2 cluster is online on host.rupy.se:

Here you can insert database entries across the entire cluster: http://root.rupy.se

Re: Rainbow Cluster

Oh, in that case it's "safe". It's on the top of a 2 meter bookshelf. You should see the similar 150W power supply next to it! Closed plastic PSUs last about a year on full blast, these open metal ones last at least 5.

Re: power supply options for multiple PIs

Actually I paid 12$ for everything including shipping. That's Chinese deflation for you!

RPi 2 draws <500mA at full speed (all cores 100%).

So 2.5A is ok for 4x RPi 2.

You can build a HTTP cluster with: http://github.com/timspin/rupy

The only MPI for Java are using JNI and I doubt there are any RPi compiled binaries.
