Re: OpenVG and Go Programming Language

Not yet, but I can send it to you for review. It does everything you say it does.
I am preparing build instructions and a make script, because it takes a little knowledge otherwise.
After that, it works as you meant it to work ;)

Re: free pascal / lazarus

Actually, it is not THAT difficult, and once you are done everything is very, very easy. Basically, my current code depends on two things that I have to document: 1. You should be able to build the C objects based on the instructions from A.J. Starks. 2. You should be able to build the FPC trunk fro...

Re: free pascal / lazarus

As a token of good faith I finished the header translations for A.J. Starks' elegant little OpenVG library.
Beta available on request, because it needs some documentation since you need armhf and fpc trunk.

Re: OpenVG and Go Programming Language

I have Freepascal 2.7.1 bindings for your openvg library available. Incl demo. Would you like to have them in your repository or shall I create a link to one of my servers?

Re: Two identical wifi Asus N10: one works the other no!

Your problem is you assumed you could make a diskimage from the already configured sd card. That is wrong, because the image will have the MAC address from the first card in / your configuration, the one you use for your first pi!. And the MAC address is inside the dongle. Now, of course, if you con...

Me UCSD Pascal, Apple11e, but I am only $37... :ugeek: But, wait, actually a TI57, and since nobody knew it was programmable :) (256 steps) I cheated my way through my chartered accountant exams in 1979.

Aanvullend: "vrij nieuwe Pi".

Freepascal

I would like to suggest to promote Freepascal to the list of named languages on the forum.
The amount of postings deserve that.
I mean "other languages" is a strange name for FPC.

And the Freepascal community is a real tinkering community ;)

Re: free pascal / lazarus

I dont have anything other than trunk on my pi. That definitely supports hf. In 2.6.2 you had to combine -CpARM with -OpARM and -CfVFPv2 AFAIR. Try fpc -i Again, I may be wrong. Otherwise bootstrap trunk. I dont think many people will write commercial code on a Pi (although it may very well be produ...

Re: free pascal / lazarus

I'm pretty sure upstream 2.6.2 does not have arm hard float support. Not quite true. It supports eabihf, i think. And it links to the lowlevel binaries in /opt/vc/lib and it actually works with them. Although it requires a bit of tinkering with the pascal code. I have working examples with EGL en G...

Re: Why python ?

What has perl to do with cgi? I am a little bemused. Although you can do cgi with perl (as long as the module is enabled) so can you with python. The funny thing is: more and more huge websites are using python serverside and never/hardly use perl, e.g. most google websites. There is nothing wrong i...

If that version is marked as stable use that. If not, stick to the 12.0 release.

Re: CPU 100 % in Openelec?

OpenElec already overclocks by default. Just enough to stay stable. Don't fiddle with it , although you can edit /boot/config.txt from any linux computer. It will not give you any noticable gain. About the CPU: don't worry. It's optimized for playback, not for useless gadgets on the toolbar. I guess...

Re: Difference between Raspberry build in UK or China ?

RS only uses PI factories in China, but Farnell also makes some PI's in wales. This is not correct (anymore). RS branded production is mostly also at Sony in Wales. My last RS batch of two shows "made in United Kingdom". By now the bulk of the Pi's are made in Wales, except for the Chinese/eastern ...
