Type in the terminal 'sudo apt-get update', and 'sudo apt-get upgrade'. You have the older version of OS Wheezy. I had the same prob. If the above help does not help, format the card (save any wanted files first!) and download the latest Wheezy OS, and install it. I now have the latest one, works fi...

Yeah, try RaspBMC. It works fine on mine, running HD vids with no problems.

Try android for the pi. Its quite cool!

Where can I get a decent battery to power my Pi?

And where can I get a 4 inch to 5 inch working, no setup (or very little setup) required, and works instantly?
