PCE emulator - Mac Plus/IBM PC/etc

So I found the source code for the PCE emulator online, and I tried to compile it. It all ran fine up to a certain point - it seems that there is a .a archive for each CPU emulator. But, when it gets to compiling the CPU code, it tells me that the archive has no index, and that I should run ranlib t...

Re: GAMES LIST: Games That Work On The Pi

I'm starting to use Ubuntu as my desktop replacement, and I'm probably going to try out the Windows 10 technical preview over 8.1. Shame that every time I put it into sleep (or "suspend"), the files stem becomes read only, and it takes two or three reboots to get it working again. Plus, I can't chan...

Scummvm can run more than just Beneath A Steel Sky! Try sudo apt-get install flight-of-the-amazon-queen (the package name may be different, I can't quite remember. apt-cache search it). And there's loads more on their website - Dreamweb (the Sci-Fi idea of the 90's), Broken sword (1 & 2), e.t.c. The...

Isn't windows 10 still in development? I think you can download and try it out somewhere on Microsoft's website.

OpenTTD seems to get along fine for a bit, then when you progress to a certain stage, it starts lagging about every 2 seconds.

Here's another one - when you aren't connected to the Internet, and you try to open a Google age on Chrome, the little dinosaur page comes up. On PC, press the up arrow. On mobile, tap him.

Floppies die, their readers die, and unfortunately classic 2Es do sometimes just stop working. Take it to someone with experience in it's time (like an old 1970's computer salesman or engineer), or who might know how to fix it. Good luck :D !

What the hell is an "open-source" computer? It’s an open-source single-board computer. (from orangepi.org) A waste of time to the huge majority of people. Open-source is where you spend hours trawling the internet to find the source-code for something, find out it's not there, download something th...

I think the best way would be through UART serial. It's simple, and is compatible with lots of other devices too, e.g: Arduino, PC (via USB-UART converter).
