I should point out that not only is Raspberry Pi not for profit, but none of the Trustees or anyone associated with the project to date has taken salary or payment of any kind, not even a hobnob...

Others will correct me, but I believe the drivers, at least in userland will be open source.
The firmware on the GPU is the only thing that is closed

Don't forget handling, order processing, fulfilment, and the cost of the mail packaging, which will add a few dollars, plus 5% or so for credit card or other payment charges.
Sales taxes (VAT in EU) may also have to be paid

The main problem with the USB key size device is that there simply wasn't enough room around the edge for all the i/o people want, let alone expansion ports, test headers etc. The credit card size device looks like it will be edge space limited as well

Too early to tell, but looking at air postal rates from UK I would guess P&P to be around 10EU to French Guiana
