Actually todays exchange rate £24.55=$38.95US and $35.00US=£22.32

Not sure where Ray got £24.55 from - when I went to the suppliers sites for the UK neither have a price listed at the moment. Both suppliers in the US have the price listed at $35 plus any applicable tax and shipping

The Raspberrypi.org site (main page, forums, etc) is hosted by Mythic Beasts in Cambridge (they also have a host site in London) while the shop Raspberrypi.com is hosted by Bigcommerce servers in Austin Texas and/or Sydney Australia

Same here - about 12 hours ago - no website no forums for quite a few hours. I even tried accessing from 2 different computers through 2 different IP's
