Re: HDMI to VGA adapter

The £35/£835 one on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280621510093

says "Does not work with Sky box". Any Idea why?

Might the RPi have them same problem?

What file types does your cutter use?

I don't have a proper cad package, I believe some cutters will take bitmaps  and or PDFs

It might be best to email me off list at chris@cjemicros.co.uk

Re: Laser Cut RPI case project

We are planning on a commercial Acrylic case. We did the design in 3mm Acrylic in November and am just waiting to get a production unit to confirm the final design.

It should be cheaper than the SpecialComputing BeagleBoard Acrylic cases!

Re: Sad about removal of I2S. Why was this change made?

<t>As I understand the I2S was on the alpha board it must be possible and I'd expect that later revisions of the board will probably have the I2S, though at present the foundation themselves may not not for sure. Any/all of the new products Cambridge designed?

I realise Irvine is corporate HQ, I'm not sure quite where yourselves and Cambridge fit the different product groups!

No chance. HDMI is digital, S-Video is analogue. You'd need a unit with Digital to Analogue Convertors in it, like the often referred to 'HDMI to VGA' adaptors. cost $40+
