will show you the contents
suydo crontab -l
will show the root crontab

run debian off a usb stick or portable hard drive or dual boot your PC ....

start again with a new flashing of raspbian lite
because
, it mentions something about 'starting x' - the (TV) screen turns black,
is not part of raspbian lite

yeah it takes a 6 sec still for max light
and yes I was just using raspistill


[this was left in a out of the way corner for years - there where other scripts running and the server where the timelapse ended up has long since vanished [thats a shame]]

you should be able to do this
you'll need to fiddle with the virtual terminal options for command line stuff
