Phew, that was pretty brutal for someone daring to disagree with a moderator. And unjustified, if you review the first two posts. Anyway I stopped posting here a while ago; you reminded me why. As my mother always taught me "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything" his reply was pointle...

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 made in PRC

I'm sure you can all be civillized and as has been said there is no difference between made in PRC & made in Wales raspberry pi so before this strays off topic & towards xenophobia (i know none of you have but others might) i'm closing this thread and will pass concerns onto relevant people to check...

Re: Official endorsements

Given the overall success of the Raspberry Pi (sales have got to be over 7 million by now) i'm guesstimating(with no knowledge what so ever) that it's got to be nearer 8million than 7million by now. hopefully Eben or someone from the foundation will let us know as i have a gentleman's bet with a fr...

The author of this hangs out in an irc channel I hang out in occasionally and although it's still a work in progress but so far it looks pretty good so far from my limited knowledge. Obviously there are a lot of things still missing but it's getting there. The author could do with a few more users w...

Re: Cronjob for autorestart of python script

i've not tried it with a python script but the "standard" way (afaik) to handle this is by editing /etc/inittab

e.g. add line similar to the one below

Code: Select all

processofmine:2345:respawn:/bin/processname
