I have the following error when I run uae4arm: ALSA lib pcm.c:7843:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun ocurred My uae4arm binary works well in another installation. Now, i install a clean rapsbian jessie lite and i get this error. Any idea? This is not an error but more a warning from rpi audio which occurs...

Strangely it was crashing in... init_row_map :o . By lowering the compilation optimization to 02 for this function it solve my crashing issue.
You can try to lower optimization level on your side too.. then even file by file to know which one is giving you this trouble.

Just did some tries with latest code from pandora:

CD32 is somewhat working but JIT crash and many latest improvement on Rpi are no more valid since whole input management has change... joystick is no more working and keyboard management is awfull...

I would love to see a pixel perfect 240p mode on Raspberry pi... the TV out of raspberry pi sucks in term of quality moreover there is no way to make is progressive (interlace is always on)...
But what is you screen anyway ? it's not a plain TV but a VGA/PC monitor ?

I was in the process to add some way to select what is in each DB9 port (mouse, joystick, custom, dpad...) but perhaps I need to wait :?

I did try to merge custom control.. then second joystick wasn't working any-more. Did solve the later problem but there could still have some others impacts since the code is quite messy...
The whole panel needs a refresh though...

In picasso or plain amiga mode ?
By default uae4arm shrink to 4/3 for a 16/9 but you can deactivate this shrinkby unchecking this option in the menu.

I just pushed the solution for this problem in github.
gdb is the tool to use to debug this kind of problem (but don't forget to not strip the executable and to compile it with low optimization if possible...)

Yes i see but i've never been a big fan of retro-arch: the default menu sucks, core are always behind the best standalone ones and no frontend are well adapted for computer emulation. You need at least a Pi2 and note that it's only a basic implementation (no fullscreen, no picasso...) @chips, you really need to take this to SDL2, man. :D For someone who knows the UAE4ARM code as you do, it's very easy. That's strange, because the issues with Mupen64Plus are GPU related, not CPU related, and the Pi 3 has the same GPU as the Pi 2, right? I don't see how Super Mario 64 could possibly run at 100% speed with the video plugins remaining the same: they issue one draw call for each triangle, more or less...

The version for RPi2 fully uses the quad core CPU ? All cores works together ? (I've both Rpi1 and 2) Not really... and since Amiga was single core and it's chipset needs to be tightly synchronized every few cycles with CPU i don't see any room for parralelization ... only audio rendering use some ...
