Excellent! I so loved this game before Tribes came out. It was just so fast. I remember one shotting the entire opposing team once in about 12 seconds from the rooftop of that skyscraper map. AQ2, QW deathmatch and Q2 Lithium were the fastest games ever. Shame we'll never see such things again.
A fresh rebuild later and I've got past the configure stage. Halfway into a compile though and I get this error. DirectoryNodeYear.P:262: *** missing separator. Stop. make: *** [xbmc/filesystem/MusicDatabaseDirectory/musicdatabasedirectory.a] Error 2 Appears to be at the linking stage. Line 262 refe...
Use apt-get upgrade, reboot, test. If all good then apt-get autoremove to uninstall any redundant packages. Or use dist-upgrade and live life on the edge. Well, its debian so it's a good bit back from the edge.
Some of the package deps are out of date in that article too. Tbh there's not much difference between kkoenke's doc and the one on the raspbian site. I still get the -ldl error so I'm just going to park this and do a full rebuild at some point.
Hi all, The instructions on raspbian.org site seem to be for xbmc-rbp which as I understand it has now been rolled into the main xbmc git. So, in order to compile xbmc with PVR support so I can test the latest libcmyth merges I've been trying to compile the main xbmc tree. Following the same instruc...
I assumed this forum was for "Power Users" as defined as someone who is extremely technically capable as apposed to a newbie. I see a lot of questions about powering the Pi instead. Which is it? Either way it looks like there's a forum missing.
I'm building a bartop mame cab and plan to use a portable 14" CRT telly as a screen. Obviously this box has a powersupply built into it. If I can locate a 5v bus on the TV would it be suitable to power the PI (and USB Powered hub) from this source? Any gotchas to look out for?
Just to avoid any confusion - XBian is in no way closed source, it's just a finely tuned and configured compilation of pre-existing open source packages. Yes. A modified binary distribution of GPL licensed software has to have the sources of the modified parts available as well as the unmodified pa...
Great script. Makes life a lot easier. I have a question though. How do you get a keyboard working with the mame core? I can't put money in (key 5), press tab for the menu or use any of the frameskip F8 keys.
Has anyone used the imame4all core with a keyboard yet? I'm beat if I can find out how to map certain expected mame functions to different keys. Looking at the imame4all site or source is no use as it's primarily developed for touchscreens.
I'm building bartop mame cabinet with my Pi and Retroarch looks like a great fit. However, I can get the imame4all core to run some games but how do I configure the keyboard? The standard mapping doesn't seem to match the usual mame mappings. (Insert coins, tab menu etc).
