probably a A, just because i see that it\'s gonna be very hard to get a B, If they are still in stock i will get a B, but I\'m perfectly happy with a A. I don\'t se 128mb of ram as a real limit, i have run full desktop os\'s on that much ram (XP, OSX 10.4, etc...)

the virtualbox vm isn\'t emulating a arm processer, it is just a example of a rpi setup, but compiled for x86. if you want to try it on a arm cpu try one of the qemu vm\'s, even then software complied on that is not cirten to run on the rpi

yeah i guess so, as you say it'll give you a idea of demand so you can ramp up production. and any compromise would probably just get abused, at least i will get a chance to actually finish my "tablet" ready for it to receive a rpi :-)
