Re: Pi-hole & OMV - Enclosure options for HDDs and the feasibility using two USB hubs to connect 4-8 HDDS

I'm thinking of using rsync instead of RAID now. Any reason why only once a week instead of daily? I think that's his preference you can do it daily or every 12hours, or every 4hours or whatever timing you think suits your requirements... you have full control over what you want do.... ....so you h...

Re: Running Raspbian from USB Devices : Made Easy

First of all.... THANKS to RonR for the script. Tried the script for the first time on my RPi4B and a NVMe SATA drive (just have one lying around to play around) had trouble trying to run the script.... but managed to do it after a few research. and it did run as advertised... great! however I did n...

Re: Hifiberry DAC+ via P5

IIRC there was a [26-pin + P5 pin] to 40pin conversion board before.... but its probably out of circulation nowadays. You may need to make your own interface board between the HiFiberry DAC+ Zero and the RPi or get a cheap hifiberry DAC+ clone designed for the 26pin + P5 or get a new RPiZWH to match...

RPi3B has only USB2.0 ports.
smb copy over LAN connection gave me about 7MB/s

what does
hdparm -tT /dev/sda1 (assuming your HDD is auto-mounted as /dev/sda1) give you?
