the setting where madew in the eth0 interface GPIO (from the upper right corner)

I guess my problem was soemthing in the DNS of that router (10.0.0.1)
I have change it and - everything start to work.

the code is running (as it should - I get the reading to my server) but I don't see nothing when I login to the PI .

the java is not a graphical .
my java is a read data from connected devcie and dispaly it as text .

I have done what you say
change the rc.local
but now it's not running at all at startup :-(

run a pyton code that take the data and solve it as a simple massage
for example:
when I get 18FE320 - I will decode it as "door open"
