Re: We've opened a shop!

the only thing I can think of huge regarding Raspberry Pi is the number of products sold. Seriously? You think the only thing the RPF does is produce a few computers? Maybe you should check out some of the online resources they provide, the global Code Clubs and all the other Pi(e)s they have a fin...

Re: We've opened a shop!

I am guessing it is run by volunteers due to the fact its only open on Thursday? Were did you get that from ? Probably a misinterpretation of the BBC's "The store opens in Cambridge's Grand Arcade shopping centre on Thursday". That's an "open from Thursday (today)", rather than "only open on Thursd...

Re: We've opened a shop!

Hey hey! I was wondering when something like this would happen... I am guessing it is run by volunteers due to the fact its only open on Thursday? Also what are the prices like? Same as online? "Computer firm", honestly I don't think of Raspberry Pi as a computer firm. "Computer firm" to me seems li...

If you want to setup a NAS, you should get OMV (OpenMediaVault).

If one person uses the image without the R, the image might be copied (from google images for example) and the whole population will see the image without the R and think it will be fine to use it.

It probably is possible but you would need a USB antenna for radio. Have a look at peppy player (don't have a link sorry!).

It might be best to boot raspbian from the HDD. (If you have a Pi 3B or later) It will save a lot of troubleshooting.

Re: VNC Viewer Display Screen and Minecraft

The mouse and video is slow on my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ while accessing it with VNC Viewer. The mouse lags. Does anyone has suggestions on how to improve it?! Would it be necessary to plug in an ethernet cable into the Raspberry Pi rather than using Wifi??! I don't think you will be able to play games ...

They are so cheap and wonderful that they are hard to resist, the perfect 'must have' and 'too good to miss' for something one might do some day. Then there are desires to be 'completist' and to have the latest shiny version to replace the old. Many consider it cheap... Buy 10, how much does that c...

Re: finding superior quality AMP solution

I think the topic is quite vague. When I saw AMP, I did not know you were talking about audio AMP. I think most people around here either don't care about AMP or don't know anything (or almost nothing) about AMP. Personally, I have no idea what AMP is. (Apart from AMP in websites) All I know it has ...

Re: How many pieces of pi are too many?

But if each power socket only allows 13 Amps to be drawn, using a 12 way socket means that a maximum of 1A can be drawn from each socket. That's 1A @ 120V/230V depending where you're at, which is still more than 100/200Watts More than enough to supply your Raspberries More than enough to supply my ...

You can see how your mention of Wikipedia has started the "process". You don't want to be at the end of this process. :)
I can see how it started the process, but the reason why I mentioned it is because:
1. The website is popular
2. The image can easily be changed.
