Re: How to upgrade a Wheezy image to Jessie

Followed the instructions in the op to upgrade from wheezy to Jessie and it worked perfectly, thanks!

There was an issue with Jessie not mounting my nfs shares from my nas but a quick search on the forum provided the fix.

Can someone post a step-by-step guide to getting this up and running, explaining it for a complete Linux noob? I had a look at the link in the first post but got lost pretty quickly.

Re: Uae4arm: Amiga emulator with JIT and DispmanX

I've just tried a fresh Classic WB advsp setup on the latest uae4arm. It works really well especially with a load of z3 ram added. Starstruck works surprisingly well. I'd say about 040 performance which I'm pretty impressed with. Is there any way to stop the interlace flicker when setting Screenmode...

I haven't updated my pitft RetroPie setup for quite a while though, so I do not know if the updating kernel issues has been resolved.

Chips, in the next revision would you be able to put in an option to scale the GUI to accommodate small displays? I have a RetroPie setup with a 320x480 LCD touchscreen HAT and the current GUI is too large to display properly.

I followed the adafruit tutorial for getting a 28r screen but changed a few bits and bobs to get a 3.5" 35r screen working

Re: BBC emulation on RPi2?

I finally got round to installing Beebit in riscos. This, imo, is currently the best way to play BBC games on the pi2, particularly as it runs full speed, sound works fine and you can easily make savestates of your progress.

Re: Uae4arm: Amiga emulator with JIT and DispmanX

Nice work Chips, this is brilliant. It's the best Amiga emulation I've tried on the rpi so far, by a long way. First Sanurai finally works properly. IK+ sound works correctly too. Alien Breed 3D II is incredibly smooth, probably 060 speed at least. Controls are great in this release too, plus the sc...

Sound is intermittent in Beebem, I have to select 11khz and even then it sometimes doesn't work properly all of the time.

Sound seems to work perfectly in B-Em.

Re: BBC emulation on RPi2?

What we need is some kind soul to work some magic and recompile B-Em so that it works outside of X and in the console. Also, finding a way to get BeebEm to display File Manager windows correctly (ie not crash!) when you're running it in the console. BeebEm is still too slow in X but it's fine speed-...
