Re: Full speed Amiga emulator ( UAE )

If a black screen comes up when you sudo ./uae4all then carefully press down on the keyboard 5 times followed by return. This should drop you back into the cli. Sudo ./uae4all again and the GUI should come up this time. I still get random crashes to cli and first samurai still won't run. Here's hopi...

Me neither! I downloaded all the requisite stuff from the individual links too, just to see of that would work, but I get the same result.

Help! :)

Kimondo, i cannot get your version of arcem to run. I've followed your blog instructions, but double clicking on !ArcEm in riscos just runs StrongED and a text document opens up.

Yep, Edimax one works brilliantly. You need a decent power supply though, go for a 1amp one.

Re: SqueezePlug Version 5 ready for download

I can confirm that the Edimax EW-7811UN Wireless USB Adapter works fine with v5, setup gets it running straight away, no dramas. Furthermore, this works plugged straight into one of the Pi's usb ports, a hub is not required provided a suitably decent PSU is used. The only slight issue is that if the...

Any news on updates for this? I can get it running brilliantly with a competition pro USB joystick, and many old titles work fine but a few favourites such as First Samurai just quit to the cli. Any ideas why?

Re: SqueezePlug Version 5 ready for download

Anyone running Version 5 with a new 512mb RPi? Does it run any faster than the stock 256mb version on searches, scanning, web interface etc?

What memory splits are people using for 256mb Pi's? What are people using with 512mb versions?

What memory splits are people using? Is there any real benefit from overclocking if you're just running LMS and no squeezeplay/squeezeslave?

Re: SqueezePlug for Raspberry Pi ready for download

Thomas, good news on v5 nearing completion! One question though - will it be easy enough to setup and run v5 with wifi using the popular RTL8188CUS based wifi adapter? I know that the latest wheezy firmware has an easy-to-use gui setup for this type of adapter in X, but I'm expecting v5 to just be c...

Re: How to install/ build/ play Quake 3....

I got it working using your instructions, so thanks a lot! A few points to note: 1) the compliling took closer to an hour than half an hour on a stock clocked Pi. 2) you should mention the bit about cd'ing into the baseq3 directory before giving the download link to the pak files. 3) you also need t...
