Will do Thomas, I can't rule out its not something I'm doing wrong! For the record, my standard rasbian image works fine with the dongle! Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

Well, the latest few versions of openelec (currently using 12806) have knackered 1080p content for me which previously ran perfectly fine on my 512mb Pi. Every now and again there is a slight pause or hip-cup or brief period of buffering which lasts perhaps half a second. It can't be predicted when ...

One last thing about the edimax issue:

/etc/networks/interfaces on the working v5.05 install is identical to the one generated by v6 when running the WLAN config in setup.

My edimax wifi usb will not connect to my router using squeezeplug v6. Dhcp is enabled, I have inputted the correct ssid and password but the wifi will not get an IP address from the router. Every other device on my network still works correctly, including a pi with an edimax USB dongle already runn...

Download and install usb image tool. Run it. Insert the sd card. Select the card from the left-hand pane, click 'backup', input a name a location for the snapshot, wait whilst it does its work.

Re: SqueezePlug Version 5 ready for download

Once you have it set up again to as it was before the 'screw up', use something like USB Image Tool (on a windows pc) to make a backup image of your sd card, effectively a 'snapshot' of it in its current working form. Then, if there's another 'screw up', you can just re-image the sd card from the wo...

OK, Thanks; and Thanks for the Link.... I did connect the USB from the Pi into my USB port on the DAC, but there was no sound. I was not to surprised as the Pi FAQ indicates that there is only audio on the 3.5 mm jack and the HDMI connection. if you have /etc/asound.conf, create a backup and try th...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 5 ready for download

It seems to be 48kps streams which are the issue. I can't find a way to get the TuneIn Radio app to let me select a different stream (such as 96kps) like the ipad app can. 96kps streams from the Radio tab in LMS seem to play ok on SqueezeLite.

Re: SqueezePlug Version 5 ready for download

Speaking of SqueezeLite (which is brilliant btw), is there a way to get it to play radio streams, such as bbc 5 live when using the TuneIn Radio app in LMS? At the moment it just says that the stream is unsupported.

Hi, Quite please with myself. Recently go my Pi and this evening managed to get the Edimax ew-7811un working with it (after having issues removing another adaptor I had tried). Anyway the only slight issue I have is if the wifi drops (e.g. router reboots) then it doesn't auto reconnect. I have to u...
