Re: launch python programm by pphp

The error output from $pr=exec("python /home/pi/pr.py"); should be in /var/log/apache2/error.log If you want to redirect all output (stdout and stderr) into another file, use $pr=exec("python /home/pi/pr.py >>/tmp/prpyoutput.txt 2>&1"); The apache webserver is running as user www-data. Re: Raspberry PI Model 2 B won't boot

There exists another reason to avoid NOOBS already for a long time. NOOBS is not supposed to get updated. If you obtain a new Raspberry Pi model, you can't reuse your existing SD cards without new installation from scratch.

Re: Remote desktop (xrdp) on stretch: Some menu items do not work

My current solution: Create a file ~/.xsessionrc export XAUTHORITY=${HOME}/.Xauthority This makes the the menu items work, that require root privileges. Create a directory ~/bin if not already existing and a file ~/bin/lxde-pi-shutdown-helper #!/bin/sh env SUDO_ASKPASS=/usr/lib/rc-gui/pwdrcg.sh sudo...

Re: Etcher for Raspberry Pi, no more need a PC for flash!

A PC was never needed to flash a Raspian image if you have a running Raspbian and a card reader or a USB MSD and one of the RPi models that can boot from it. But PC often have USB3 ports, that can save a lot of time when copying gigabytes. If you are comfortable with USB2 speed you could use lsblk t...

Re: Not able to ssh without password even after adding ssh-key

The server's (solariss.penv.com) key is refused by the client (pi@mpulse) here, because the server is already known with a different key. If you are sure, that the server's key actually has changed, you can remove the invalid former key from your client's "known_hosts" file as suggested in the error...

As mentioned removing packages is pointless unless you need the disk space for something else.
They cause useless network traffic when they get updated. Some updates even caused errors.
