Custom Compute module 3 - How can read in serial without USB?

So I'm currently creating a custom board for my project and I'm stuck on how I can connect the SODIMM DDR2 connector to read in serial data from ESP-WROOM-32. Currently my schematic is set to include an USB port which gets the serial data converted to USB via a CP2102. However I'm trying to look for...

Re: What is the pi zero camera connector called?

Okay so new update I finally found out what the component is called its model name is 54548-2271 7 its a 22 pin Camera connector. If you type into google "22 pin cable adapter" it will show the same thing. in regards to FPC & FFC it would seem the connector doesn't matter as it will deal with both. ...

Re: What is the pi zero camera connector called?

Okay, well I don't know that. I knew SODIMM was for CM3 but I saw similarity in the design so thought was somewhat same for the camera connector. Any ideas what the part is called? Update I found out what its called its a 22 pin cable adapter my only question now is whether I need to opt for FPC or ...

What is the pi zero camera connector called?

Does anyone know what the camera connector model/part name is on the Pi Zero W? Trying to make custom board on EagleCAD but I have no clue as to what it is physically called so I can then find its datasheet and add it to my eagle project. I found out that it was a CSI-2 and I thought it also might b...

Re: CM3 - What pins are used Left/Right audio on 5pin jack?

Honestly I'm new to the world of electronics so if I've missed something then probably I have. Plus when I look at the datasheet. Alot of it is gobbly goop i.e. no idea what it is about.

CM3 - What pins are used Left/Right audio on 5pin jack?

Does anyone know what GPIO pins are dedicated on the CM3 for Left & Right audio lines using a 5 pin 3.5mm jack? Also I've been following the Tinkerrnut's video of outputting sound out of the Pi Zero W using the circuit below. Would I be able to use the same circuit with the CM3? If not then what wou...

Turn off Password to access PI configuration

So I recently setup my Pi Zero W to access the wifi and changed the username from Pi to an new username. However upon doing so, whenever I login into the account and click to access the Raspberry Pi Configuration, I'm prompted to type in the account's password every single time. Prior to changing th...

Followed the WIFI guide and still not working help?

So I got a Pi Zero W 1.1 couple of weeks ago and only now had the time free to get it up and running and I've noticed that WIFI is booting. By not booting I mean when I click on the wifi icon it displays "No wireless interfaces found" and if I hover over it, it displays "Connection to dhcpcd lost" I...
