wolfram raspi-pi 2 - a deal!

With the new raspi pi 2 I wonder what the impact on Woflram will be? I would think it would now make it really useable and perhaps for $35 you now get this powerful and usable software package which normally cost hundreds! Did anyone do benchmarks on this yet? found this link for benchmark on the wo...

Re: The Raspbian new UI thread

Thanks that worked.. I never noticed this before and I thought this behavior was caused by the new UI..but it has always been this way.. I also found trash-cli which I installed and it has a function called trash-empty Python script. I put it right next to the trash can ..just click and it is empty....

Re: Epiphany browser

Epiphany browser works great for me with the exception of low audio volume. I was able to get around this by going into alsa mixer and moving the db gain all the way up to 3.44 .. Is there another way to set the volume up higher? again this was playing youtube videos ... what is amazing is that the ...

I have the banana-pi .. and it is an adequate and usable desktop .. $52 from alibaba .. but that is about it .. you can't really do all the wonderful projects that you see on raspberrypi.org .. it appears as if there is only one real "expert" .. on their forums ..so if you want to create and make st...

after much trial and error I solved it for myself .. it might not work for someone else. I got into trouble looking at another post which suggested putting the echo command into the /etc/default/hwclock member .. instead I went over to the adafruit tutorial for the ds1307 and followed those directio...

this is interesting in that I left the unit up and came back to it after an hour and the sudo hwclock -r or -s works fine... I imagine there is some other process running that stopped perhaps. I still can't clear the UU status ..If I reboot the machine then the hwclock goes back to showing WED DEC 3...

my bad... I completely removed tightvncserver then reinstalled and all is ok .. there must have been something I was doing previously with my config of xstartup in the .vnc directory .. by completely removing and reinstalling tightvncserver that seems to have "fixed" it... sorry
