Re: University Project- Please help

can you clarify more, do you intend the button to activate this to be on the pi/camera? or a remote wireless button perhaps sown into a coat cuff? is that what the 433mhz board is for? (how about reusing an amazon dash button or something similar/smaller as the alarm button??) If you can assume the ...

Re: Cloned a hard disk not working

just a guess but its probably something to do with addressing the disk and possibly its mount points. you could confirm this by booting from the original hdd and running sudo blkid /dev/sda1: UUID="756dfe8e-1ab6-4933-be98-776e38f97857" TYPE="ext4" /dev/sda5: UUID="b1e575f1-ad95-47a9-b0d8-215a15736ed...

Re: Enclosing and cooling a pi zero w in a warm moist environment.

after a 24hour run its looking like the pi will run @ circa 20c above ambient.. In operation it will be periodically querying half a dozen to perhaps a dozen ble sensors, logging and publishing 4-6 data topics via mqtt per sensor. Then occasionally(3-4 times per 24hour period) responding to mqtt mes...

i would forget BLE then, and look at udp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Datagram_Protocol

that way you can blurt out as much data over wifi as you want, better range than BLE too

as above on a seperate computer open a browser and point it at your pi by using its ip address ie http://192.168.0.12:8080 the :8080 should not be necessary but its the port that apache should be listening on. substituting your pi ip of course. if that fails open a terminal session on another comput...

Most of what you say is correct, including the aspect of UV causing PVC cables to deteriorate. However, you miss the point about "temporary". It is NOT defined in Part P. It is not the same as "connected by a plug and socket" -- Part P specifically includes "fixed" wiring "even if the final connect...
