Hello,

I'm trying to purchase some Raspberry Pi 3, but it seems that every distributor in Europe is out of stock, both models B and B+.
Do you know what's going on?
How many do you need ?

Ernst, Wonderful, simple humor from an age of innocence. We are not allowed to joke like that anymore in the age of CoCs and such. I wonder with a very low belief that it's possible.
How do I RECOVER the root password? I can NOT reset it as the whole system uses the same root password so it won't work.
Are you sure that a root password has been set on this system ?

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 A+ in Gadget Mode

It might be possible that your host keys got corrupted on the initial startup, like if you removed power after first boot.

What you can try is to regenerate the host keys:

Code: Select all

sudo rm /etc/ssh/ssh_host*
sudo ssh-keygen -A

Hey, I need to make a cluster/hub of 10-20 Raspberry zeroes for a new project I am working on. These are the requirements: Each Pi should have 2 normal USB2.0 ports. Lock threads after 3-6 months of inactivity sounds sensible to me. New threads can easily be started if the issue reappears. Better than having people replying to out of date information. I fully agree with this. But it would be nice if moderators would be able to unlock threads on request for the ...

I'm gonna try the above with the latest Buster image, and will try without HDMI (skip touching the config.txt). Will report back
It would make sense to (physically) remove the pisound while testing.

If I simply pull the plug, wait 2 seconds, and plug back in - it boots fine. So it seems like some bad state is being set by sudo reboot now . ( dont worry, I have a RO filesystem, so it's safe to pull the plug ). Background: I'm creating an embedded consumer device, meant to be turned off and on v...
