I think you can get 5.1 sound from the HDMI conector.
There is also a 3.5mm jack that is just stereo.

Wow, there is nothing worse than kids playing with \"toys\".
If the R-Pi survived to them, then it will survive to anything.

Re: Distribution Features and Packages

That's a great idea!
The R-Pi community members could create a distros' repository site where they could upload custom Linux distros specific to the R-Pi device.
So, we could have a Office distro, Game distro, and so on.

Re: "Raspberry Pi" and "Huckleberry Finn"

Sometimes the developers write the device name as "Raspberry ?". I read the greek letter as a greek letter (as "pee", not "pie")
So the device name sound as "Raspberry Pee". And it sounds similar to "Huckleberry Finn".
I thought it would be a reference of a younger's book character.

Re: "Raspberry Pi" and "Huckleberry Finn"

The device name "Raspberry Pi" sounds like the Mark Twain novel, "Huckleberry Finn".
Do the developers take this novel to name the device?

Everyone who want use a Remote Control over R-Pi can build a homemade Serial Port Receiver:

Well, it is assumed that we will have access to serial headers on the R-pi device.
