Re: Project: Android JB 4.1 with Hardware acceleration

Re: newbie question: vchiq not working with RT_PREEMPT kerne

Last time I tried to do this it failed badly point 1, in the mmc driver loading. I used the kernel 3.2.27 (c58d10edc9fb05282128e58d3acb589010a72281). I'd guess RT_PREEMPT doesn't work properly on 3.2 rpi kernel. Though it could be working in future version which should be more "upstreamed". i have ...

I set loglevel=0 to /boot/cmdline.txt, but that did not cause any effects to anywhere. I am surprised. How should it be done then?

Re: CMA non-functional with Kernel 3.8.11?

I've not tried. Any idea what type of memory it's running out of? I know we needed this in bcm2708.c init_dma_coherent_pool_size(SZ_4M); Possibly that is no longer occurring at the right time, or needs to be increased. I think you can specify that on kernel command line (coherent_pool=) I have a 3....

Hey guys. I have already seen the kernel branch at Github, so I cloned and compiled it. I expected 3.9 but the output was: Linux raspberrypi 3.8.12+ #1 PREEMPT Thu May ...
