Not sure about that.

But you could crontab a script to run every 30 seconds or minute to see if feh is running as a process. If not it could start it with the command line as above.

Hiya I am using a program called feh to display pictures, its brilliant, and should come installed with x, otherwise use sudo apt-get install feh to get it installed. But the example settings I saw didn't mention the = sign for the setting, what I saw as examples stated :

sdtv_mode 2
sdtv_aspect 1

So can u just please confirm that the = is required or not
