Re: PHP/Bootstrap Web Interface for the Pi Camera

Finally I was able to download an image that worked for me, but not for a Zero W. It was named 1.70 or so, but logged in a 1.62. A difference by incident or not. But: a huge timedelay with a Zero 1.3 and RJ45 and a lost many frames at least when there is motion Nearly useless to watch and enjoy bird...

Re: PHP/Bootstrap Web Interface for the Pi Camera

Hello, Zero W is available for a few month and it would be fine to have an complete instruction for that zero w camera 2 project that simply starts after the raspbian installation has been done and that really works. I nees it simply as a kind of glas for my 79 year old dad who has got only 1 eye le...

Re: a little help for beginner with my code please

Hey Ogamiitto, regarding "CTRL + C" does not work and the following bug after restarting the script I have found that "workaround": If you press "CTRL + 4" you will quit that script + you will be able to restart the script without that error I mentioned before. So far: this is the best PIR detected ...

Re: a little help for beginner with my code please

Hey Ogamiitto, your code works but I ran into problems, cause "CTRL+C" does not work. Therefore I can not stop the code and if I close the terminal window I will get problems with the next start cause ... "failed to enable port" (sorry , can not copy the full errormessage cause my pi zero is not net...

Days. Just got to tidy the build and do some more testing. If you would like a beta version to test just DM me and I'll prepare a download link. Thanks to PROCOUNT I can asure that his PiNN 1.9.4 did the job quite good. #1 My RJ45 Network 3x USB Hub is supported while PINN boots. #2 Raspbian WiFi D...

Re: Pi ZERO 1.3 + NOOBS 1.9.2: Raspbian only? Low resolution

My next version of PINN will include some more wifi and ethernet drivers so hopefully you will be able to use that instead. If your 3xusb hub+rj45 device is like mine then it will probably work. Look out for my next release. Can't wait to see it. When do you expect that release? A question of days ...

Pi Zero + USB RJ45 + NOOBs: How to get a network connection?

Hey, I use a pi Zero with a Mini USB Hub and integrated RJ45 network. If I boot raspbian it works fine. But: If I insert a Noobs SD 1.9.2 then noobs will start without offering any further OS than raspbian. These others OS should become availableif the system is connected to the web. The usb hub has...

Re: Pi ZERO 1.3 + NOOBS 1.9.2: Raspbian only? Low resolution

@fruitoftheloom Ok, that explains why my previous installations (pi 2 and pi 3) took so much time - due to the openelec download. I did not recognize then that openelec was a download because I had thought that openelec would have been part of the NOOBs installation and that the installation had bee...

[SOLVED] Pi ZERO 1.3 + NOOBS 1.9 Raspbian only?

Hello, I previously used NOOBs with a Pi 2 and a Pi 3. It was fine for the beginning. While booting I got the chance to select between different OS. like raspbian, openelec and others. After that selection the Pi 2 / 3 bootet fine and the 65 inch LG TV display was perfectly used - no action needed. ...

Re: Pi Zero Hub Without Cable or Connector with integrated W

Great idea and very good iteration of your previous project - that 4 usb hub. Unfortunatelly sold out but propably it won't make sense to produce another charge if the next generation is coming. I hope more will pledge for that great product. I like that I do not have to solder. Forget all the heada...

Hey Jimmy, now everything works and I found the source of this misery. But step by step: Here are my results after I appended the line in fstab you recommended. pi@Raspi2HBB:~ $ dmesg | grep mount [ 2.115018] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p2): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. That's a bit unusual. First the error message itself when changing to the directory. cd smbFNAS di-bash: cd: smbFNAS: no "fitting" device "found/present" Normally it would look like this: cd smbFNAS -bash: cd: smbFNAS: No such file or directory maybe the raspbian translation into german is the sour...

put the # back in the first line of that file then do it via systemd OK, I have put the # back and after reboot nothing has changed - no access But what do you mean with that "via systemd"? Even if I add that "systemd" to fstab I still get (after reboot) the same error if I try to change the direct...

What do you get with a "df -h" command, or a "mount" command? Is the share mounted? Re: mount network share on boot

Use systemd to mount it rather than rc.local, it works much better, those posts are a bit outdated. Use the following in fstab (edit as needed of course) //192.123.123.1/share /media/smbFNAS cifs username=ftpuser,password=123,uid=pi,gid=pi,x-systemd.automount 0 0 I added that line to the fstab and ...

Thanks Dougie, but unfortunatelly I have more questions than answers  I don't know if something went wrong, but when I tried this sudo nano /etc/cups/cupsd.conf I found only one "listen" . That syntay looked very different to your "Listen 0.0.0.0:631 # change me" and therefore I am asking # Al...
