Hi Georg, you are perfectly right, I wish I'd met you earlier. In mean time I succeeded. Yes, it is the GUI's assistant which is enabling static IP config. Yesterday evening it was my last try. After trying the old method using /etc/network/interfaces, after trying the method within /etc/dhcpcd.conf...
