sigh... yes, as you may have meanwhile read I perhaps understood what he meant... :-/ don't be so ironic, I am just a bloody beginner! as the new copy procedure is provided by the devs I guess there will be more users to run into those issues, and they hopefully will have better skills to solve that issue :-/

use your rescue system to read it
what is a rescue system?
wouldn't it 1st of all be easier to read the red lines?
As they are thrown to the screen - how to stop them to be read?

Re: new Raspian 2016_04_10 SD copy tool: issues...

watching the boot sequence closely I shortly can observe 2 red lines rushing through, but impossible to read...

well, red lines might contain sort of error msg, as I assume...

how can I stop those scrolling lines during booting?

Re: new Raspian 2016_04_10 SD copy tool: issues...

wow, well, a good question -
a huge pile of lines having rushed through...
do you want to know the section before?
Or a special one?
Can I pause the rushing lines during booting then somehow to check for special entries?

new Raspian 2016_04_10 SD copy tool: issues...

hi, as reported in a different topic I have created a SD clone of my current internal SD card, featured by the new Raspian 2016_04_10 SD copy tool. I now wanted to test in on a 2nd Pi (both ones are Pi 2). update: first check: the 2nd Pi is booting fine with it's proprietary SD card, having a Realte...

wish for a file manager and Leafpad enhancement

hi, I would appreciate if the file manager and/or the leafpad were able to be started from the desktop with sudo rights if the user wishs to. This feature should be provided either by a context menu on right mouse click ("start as sudo" like "start as administrator" on Windows), and/or, additionally...

jojopi, thank you for your clarification! Re: bash file programming problem

thank you all for you replies! I meanwhile changed the first -e to -d and set all the quote marks, and now the 1st section works, i.e. it waits for enter to be pressed. But now there is a new issue in the second section; I already changed -e to -f (as sda7 is a file) so it looks like if [ -f "/dev/s...

Re: new Raspbian version 2016-05-10

it's a LogiLink mouse/keyboard which is not so extremely bad quality.
But if you also had that experience, then it IS supposed to be a known issue, isn't it? ;)

and BTW,
on Windows it's not badly behaving, there it works like a charm ;)
