Re: Reading GPIO input triggered by IRQ

hey, I am alo intersted in implementing timer or hardware IRQs underneath the user space to achieve a better real-time performance for time-critical events, which must not be delayed by Linux tasks or daemons. E.g., polling exactly (!) each 100µs 8-12 different digital input pins, or watching those ...

Re: HDMI graphic lib: openvg syntax questions

hi, I just encountered that after start it's not immediately visible what I am drawing, but I need to watch each single drawing action one by one by sort of "live viewing". e.g., for a performance simulation long test_graphics(){ int y=0; for(y=0;y<100;++y) { Background(0, 0, 0); // Black background...

thank you - as you might have guessed I actually thought this feature about switching the windows had been already implemented... ;) now having a new display function void vghidewindow() { VGfloat clear_colour[4] = {0, 0, 0, 0}; vgSetfv(VG_CLEAR_COLOUR, 4, clear_colour); vfClear(0, 0, width, height)...

Re: HDMI graphic lib: openvg syntax questions

my next question is about 1) you always need Init() and Finish() 2) you can have Start(), it must be paired with End(). Given one has a program which is using both the console window for printf() and the graphis window for drawing: // start char s[3]; float val1, val2; printf("starting...\n"); // do...

now I understood it, and fill shape by (0,0,0,0) is a good workaround.

Re: HDMI graphic lib: openvg syntax questions

thank you very much for your reply! Unfortunately my English is very poor, e.g. I know the meaning of "stroke" only as "apoplexy" or "beat" or "shock" - what do you mean by that? Also the rest of your explanation is quite complicated, the meaning is not quite clear in the end as I am also only very ...

HDMI graphic lib: openvg syntax questions

hey, I have some questions about openvg syntax and more. https://github.com/ajstarks/openvg My first question is about outlined geometric shapes and filled shapes. by Background(0, 0, 0); Fill(255,255,255,1); Circle(50, 40, 10); I get a white filled circle on a black background, but how do I get jus...

Re: HDMI: font sizes, simple graphics by g++ C

no, I will always use Geany , never ever command line.

I'm using g++ as in most of all cases I'm using C++ classes and libs (additionally).

I need to have all parameters fusioned in Geany IDE.

Re: HDMI: font sizes, simple graphics by g++ C

I'm using g++, not gcc how is the Geany parameter line fusioned with (for compile:) g++ -Wall -o "%f" -lpthread -lrt -lwiringPi (for make:) g++ -Wall -o "%e" "%f" -lpthread -lrt -lwiringPi ? I don't use command line ever, far too much to type every time, I am only using the Geany parameters BTW, mys...

Re: HDMI: font sizes, simple graphics by g++ C

I am just using Geany, nothing else. And yes, I try to fuse my Geany settings by those of AJStarks The settings above are the settings of Geany so far - I don't use anything else, so no extra-makefile additionally to Geany. BTW, I also already tried the following settings: (for compile:) g++ -Wall -...

Re: HDMI: font sizes, simple graphics by g++ C

I'm already linking with wiringPi and all the other parameters because I always use them for each of my projects so far. They already work on either directory. They now have to be expanded to work additionally for graphic screens (e.g., by openvg), too. I need to have access to all libs from either ...
