JavaScript

I am trying to watch a TV channel but I get the message

"To watch this program You need to enable JavaScript. Find out how.

If I recall right from earlier there is something else then Java for Linux, am I right?

Is this the right place to post about subtitles?
I don't get ÅÄÖ on Swedish subs.
And what do I do if the subs are already in the info in the .mkv-file.
With vlc I right click on the screen and select the preferred subs.
I have tried using m and n on the keyboard.

Sorry! I missed a part of the instruction! I am playing a vide fro Youtube now! Now I just need to pretend I am in GB to be able to see that national TV. Or? I have an account with unblockvpn. can I use that with kioske or at all with Raspbian? Jörgen Edit Oh... Why did I not install the full Kiosk ...

I tryed the stream box in xplayerGUI but it just starts up and then closes after a few seconds.
Going to youtube with the kiosk browser don't work eather.

omxplayer is gaining my respect more and more! It runs media files very nicely and I saw in the manual that it should be able to stream from internet to. I read in the manual that I would get a faster streaming configuration by installing ytdl (ginstall-ytdl) than the standard youtube-dl (sudo wget ...

Can I use this command to set a IP address that virtually places me in an other geographical place?
