Re: BBC Basic?

Thank you. Yes, that opened a thin cosole across the bottom of the screen, but the txt was so small I could barely read it. It also locked up and would not let me back to the (desktop) pinboard even when hitting entercwith no text. I had to pull the plug to get out of it. I did find a mode on Strong...

BBC Basic?

I have RISC OS running on my Rasp Pi 2 B. Is BBC Basic installed as part of the OS? If it is what do I do to access it? I thought I had it when I started StrongED in BASIC mode but it would not let me run even the simplest Print command. What am I missing in what to do? Thanks!

Apparently, it is not possible as Berryboot seems to only work with Linux distros.

Re: Opening files on my LAN

Hi! How do you access your network shares? Via samba? Samba frequently has problems with remote files. Better to work on local copies and store the new version back to the remote storage place. Samba is installed and this is what is is accessing what is shared on the network. All networked computer...

Re: Opening files on my LAN

What app or plug-in would you like to open the file? For instance, from your shared folder if you choose to open a doc file with libreoffice on the RPi, what happens? Do you have libreoffice installed? Yes, libreoffice is installed and Write opens if I try to open a doc file on the network - the wr...

Opening files on my LAN

I am running Raspbian on a RaspPi2 B. I can access my network computers from Raspbian through the File Manager. If I click on a file from a network Windows PC shared folder to open on the Pi, the correct application opens on the Pi to run that file to open, for example the doc, pdf, txt, file, but t...

Re: Converting img for Berryboot - problem

Perhaps I should add this also to the above. The directions just say to enter this line to start = sudo kpartx -av image_you_want_to_convert.img I made changed image_you_want_to_convert.img to riscos.img which is what I named the image file to shorten it. This line returns failed to stat () riscos,i...

Will the Riscos image from the Raspberry pi site install as is with Berryboot or does it need to be modified?
