Re: Calling all Pygame experts. Problem to be solved

maybe something like this... def update(self): # start with background as below layer below_layer = self._background for layer_num in sorted(self._surfaces.iterkeys()): # get current layer surface if layer_num not in self._layers: this_layer = self._background.copy() else: this_layer = self._layers[...

Re: Calling all Pygame experts. Problem to be solved

Maybe I can store all surfaces in a layer as 1x surface, and then when blitting the background, I simply blit the layer surface below it?

Calling all Pygame experts. Problem to be solved **SOLVED**

This is how I am currently adding the surfaces. self._surfaces = {} def addSurface(self, surface, layer): self._su...

OMXPlayer Text Overlay - Possible?

I am currently working on a project that uses Pygame to display images / text and OMXPlayer to play videos. Is there any possible way to have Pygame overlay it's images / text on-top of the OMXPlayer window? Or, is there another possible solution? Tkinter maybe? However, currently I'm not using a X ...

RELEASE: RPI2 Raspbian Minimal Image (Mattrix)

Here's some minimal images that I have created for the latest Raspberry Pi. They should run on all versions of the Raspberry Pi including Pi Zero. It's a stripped down Raspbian with the bare essentials (no GUI etc). -- Latest kernel and user space (as of 16/12/15) -- Resizes partion on first boot --...
