Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

HI Robert, with regard to altering filename, location in /etc/raspmjpeg, I tried %Y%M%D and it worked. Then, I deleted existing %Y-%M-%D, it worked again. I suspect that the problem is that, I may have existing directory (created by MotionPie) already each day, your RPI Web Interface finds out there'...

HI Robert, It seems that the following attempt of changing file name/folder results same error. Any ideas ? I am using updated version by today. HI Robert, I feel that the timer may not be correct. As you can see, the correct time is 7:39am. I define "dawn" 60minutes before sunrise. However, it's still in dawn moment, even I define day start as "0" minute to sunrise, which 7:25am. Did I understand this correctly? or there may be something wr...

HI Robert

Is this a typo or intended? You are using %n instead of %m for minutes. That's my thinking. tks

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

HI Robert, Is there a setting in GUI that I can enable video processing , and motion capturing at same time? Or I have to manually edit /etc/raspMJPEG. HI Robert, I just tried to load up with preset "standard FoV" and clicked ok button. Now it seems recording is ok. Will report back if there's any new issues. I don't have a dropbox. If you still like to check out the recording, I can upload to you if you have one. This site doesn't permit that size...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

HI Robert,
I didn't change any of settings, except your scheduler settings. I have a SMB mount. It's same effect playing via SMB or get it local for play.

Let me know if there's something that I can check for you.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi Robert,
I checked the codec info in VLC, it says "30fps". Is this the reason of that "fast forwarding" effect?

But, the /etc/raspmjpg has "25fps" configured.

Any thoughts?

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

HI Robert,
since recent git pull this week, I can only get mp4 file with size of 50-700kb file. It has nothing displayed in VLC. I used to have capture of 19M-27MB capture of mp4 for 9-10 seconds capture.

Anything you know that may cause this?
thanks

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

HI Robert, The reason to be able to put something like, yymmdd or yy--mm-dd before file name, is to put those captures in a folder with captures by other pi cameras, like motion pie. In this case, we can easily go to same folder for each day. Anyway, it might be great if it can be done by our own de...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

HI Robert,

How's latitude/longitude affecting the determination of "dawn, dusk, etc."?

I am here at 15:26 with bright sunshine, but it's in "dusk" mode already. I found out my coordinates from googlemap.

Is there any coordination to the clock on the Pi Debian's "date" or Ntp timing at all?

thanks

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

HI Robert,
Can you kindly explain again how to use each of these switchs?
What are the meaning of md 0;em night? Why do we have an extra "md 1" after "md0;em auto"? What does "md 0" mean? Can do "md 1" for each situation?

Thanks in advance.
