Re: Bluetooth not working after update - information needed!

@timjstone A fresh installation should work out of the box. What is your power supply rated at, and do you have anything else drawing power? As Douglas6 says, try without the screen first. @kevin42 I'm happy you have a working system now. We're trying to get hold of a card with a failed update so w...

Re: Official WiFi dongle stopped working after update to 4.4

Ok, looks like I have 2 problems. The first is that the dongle didn't seem to like being used through a 30cm USB cable, it used to be fine (that's life), this is so I can bring the WiFi dongle out side the case, the second is that one of the Official WiFi dongles has died, in fact after a bit of hot...

Official WiFi dongle stopped working after update to 4.4.9

Hi, A long time ago I built a Raspberry Pi laptop. https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=67312 It has been working great since then, a few days ago I updated to the latest Jessie build, but the WiFi dongle that I was using WLU6331 (official raspberry pi) stopped working, I have two...

Re: [SOLVED] Bluetooth not working after update

PhilE wrote:Do you have /dev/serial*?
Hi Phil,
Yes serial0 and serial1 on my original installation.
I have now been able to download the image and flash it, the Bluetooth works ok on that fresh installation, similarly I have serial0 and serial1 on the fresh installation.
Regards, Kevin.

Re: Bluetooth not working after update - information needed!

On a Pi3, WiFi working perfectly. 1) Updated. 2) Never tried to use Bluetooth before. 3) bluetoothctl I'm assuming you also want "show" in which case I get. [bluetooth]# show No default controller available 4) Fresh installation, the Bluetooth works ok. 5) I only get option to 'Remove "bluetooth" fr...

Hi, I am currently working on a project using this exact same driver board. I am using the 5V supply to power a wireless HDMI receiver card. Everything is working great except that on my board, shutting the power off with the button does not seem to shut the output power off as I think it should. H...

Re: Pi-Portable & or Monitor.

Your project is great. I have already done something like yours but my problem was that i need 2 power adapters, one 12V/4A for the LCD and one 5/V/2A for the Raspberry. I like your project because you only need one power adapter ! In my previous project, i have a power cable from the inverter port...

Re: Pi3 sdram freq 900MHz?

It'll be 450 MHz actual clock, but it's ddr ram (double data rate) so each clock cycle is effectively doubled so giving the 900MHz figure. Completely normal. :-)

Re: Pi-Portable & or Monitor.

Curious.. Why do you have to connect wires to both 5V outputs and Gnds instead of just one 5V and one GND? Thanks! You don't 'have' to, but if you are going to pull a couple of amps from it then the more copper in the the circuit the better, to stop voltage drop. At say 2 Amps a 0.1 Volt drop will ...

Got ya! It's was the disconnecting of the current power that I was missing! So... The red wire is now powering the board via the VR (soldered underneath, back to the power connection). The black wire is grounding to the ground point shown in the photo just above. The grey wires are powering the Pi ...

Looking from the front of the board, ie the side with all the monitor connectors and power connectors on it; on the left hand side of the board behind the connector that goes to the LCD labelled 'CN5 INVERTER', there are 6 vacant pin holes in a line, labelled CN3. These are, from front to back Powe...

hdmi_ignore_cec_init=1 but as i said before, because of using NOOBS, i have to put that option to the OpebELEC (in your case it is RaspBMC) config.txt AND NOOBS config.txt Hi Beta-Tester, Could you give me the paths of where the two config.txt files go, as I only know of one? Thanks Kevin.

Re: HOWTO: Move the filesystem to a USB stick/Drive

Mine simply says. root=/dev/sda1 The flaw with that is that your HDD MUST enumerate as /dev/sda (with partitions /dev/sda1 to /dev/sdaN). What happens when it enumerates as /dev/sdb? Yes possible, but it never does! and I've been using /root on a external disk since well before this thread was star...

Just a quick question about the M.NT68676.2A. When you apply power to it does it automatically power on or does it require you to push the on/off button?
