Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available

Have you uprated the usb power on the pi?. SSH into the pi, at the command line type, echo max_usb_current=1 >> /boot/config.txt press enter, reboot the pi and your done. you need a good power supply, at least 2.5amps at 5volt (some good ones are a little over the 5volt) http://www.modmypi.com/raspb...

Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available

before you revert to the old OS, what about trying the upgrade/update routine on the pi, there might be a difference in the kernel used.

Just a thought.

Either, reboot enable the usb power outlet to max, use a power usb hub, subscribe to raspberry settings (buy the licence) and select usb outlet in the drop down, reboot and select squeezelite Advanced Settings . Ask over on the Squeezebox Community forum Ask on the Max2play forum good luck ronnie.

HI I setup multiple raspberry pis with squeezeplug and different sound cards. The old version of sueezeplug runs without a problem incl. Wifi and AMP+. Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available

Hi, I am thinking of changing my Squeezeplug 7.5 setup with this new software. However I am unclear as to whether it supports USB DACs? You webpage suggests that I might need to purchase a Max2Play premium license? Or is the license just for I2C DACs? My DAC is the Behringer UCA-202 USB DAC. Thanks...

Re: Triode plugin not working with SB receiver on WIFI

Hi federico,

Might just be that a little more power is required for the Spotify premium tracks if you are using the high quality setting.

Try the low quality setting and see if it works, then maybe do the usb power upgrade on the rpi2 and see if it makes a difference.

I have a Raspberry Pi Model B and a newer Raspberry Pi 2 Model B. Both are running an up-to-date version of Raspbian and are set up to function as AirPlay receivers. I can certainly endorse your choice for a player (there are also other good players available). But first I would suggest that you lo...

Re: SqueezePlug for Raspberry Pi version 7.50

@preiter, I think it could be the usb dongle, can you swap it out or even better connect the pi via Ethernet (if only for elimination of the possible cause). When this happens is the pi IP listed on the router? On the Touch, can you see the pi when you use "Select player"? Also is the pi listed as a...
