Re: Video Core Source – 1 Year On

Getting Eric Anholt's Mesa3D VC4 driver running on a Raspberry Pi is easily done thanks to the work by gohai. gohai started out roughly following Eric's notes here: http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/VC4/ And then put together a buildbot in Python, to produce system images for use on the Pi or Pi2. Ker...

Re: Java Swing GUI with TFT Touch screen

Good afternoon, I've built a home project for my student house, including a 3.2" Touch Screen. The GUI for the program is written in Java, using the Swing framework. My program works perfectly on my Windows machine, however, when I transfer it to my Raspberry Pi, the start screen pops up but my JBu...

Now it will work to extract the downloads in my Jdownloader after I push the button under downloads -> package -> actions -> extract now. But automatic it dosn't work. No idea, you have to talk to the jdownload developers you should provide a step by step instruction how to reproduce the "bug" that...

Re: Java script Game not working (sorta)

There are many excellent examples at http://phaser.io/examples/v2/category/input use them! you need to change your application from registering an event like you have done with the key to actually poll the mouse in the render loop because you can not connect an event to the mouse button. I will help...

Re: Java OpenGL ES 2 bindings using JogAmp JOGL 2

I noticed an issue using the Raspberry Pi broadcom specific dispmanx API While working on the RPi libgdx game development framework. The "dispmanx" mousepointer overlay is misaligned with the OpenGL ES dispmanx window when using the closed source Broadcom BCM driver. This issue have now been fixed ...

Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr

Hi, I was wondering if this driver can be used for a Rpi B+ Rpi 2 Jessie based Mate desktop system. For general HW Accelerated graphics on applications such as OpenCPN? Yes, the Mesa3D OpenGL 2 vc4 driver will work with any opengl application. for example i tested using the driver to "run" the full...

Re: A fatal error Java Runtime Environment .v 6.0_35-b35

If there is a reliable way to reproduce the bug then it can get studied. By reading your log-file all I can see is that you have been running jdownloader for 2 days. Unfortunally there is no "core" file generated, that can be used to attach a debugger in order to find out why the program crashed. Yo...

Re: Java script Game not working (sorta)

Since you use the java script Phaser framework you probably want to use one of its input classes. Try find a Phaser tutorial on how to use the input classes.

Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr

Woo hoo! Moving /opt/vc did the trick! I did use 20150710-1502-vc4-image, but Processing 3 wasn't pre-installed. I just downloaded http://sukzessiv.net/~gohai/vc4-buildbot/build/20150710-1502-vc4-processing.tar.bz2 and unzipped it. That is odd, if you follow my instructions in https://www.raspberry...

Re: Processing P3D, Raspberry Pi, OpenGL doesn't work

Hi Processing 2.x.x is built around the concept that all windows inherit a java applet surface and thus indirectly is using an AWT X11 Window surface. The proprietary Broadcom Raspbery Pi OpenGL ES driver is using a dispmanx surface that is incompatible with AWT X11 Window surfaces. JogAmp JOGL, tha...

Hi, I'm trying to move a servo motor to a certain angle (say 0, 90 and 180 gr). I'm using SoftPwm. With this code, the servo moves to the one direction, and then stops - it does not move to the opposite direction, but it makes noise. The problem using SoftPwm is that it do not generate exact enough...
