Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr

Hi.. I'm try latest image and i see that perfomance very very slow - boot need many many time. Why? kernel 4 ? Yes the system image is using an uptodate kernel and we have enabled quite a lot of debugging in order to be able to fix issues that we encounter. When we develop and test then we must red...

Re: BlueJ Installation

The official BlueJ guide is too vauge how to do the "Just download the Raspbian installer" step. Try the following two commands; combined they will first download the bluej "deb" installer file using the wget tool and then install it using the dpkg tool. wget http://bluej.org/download/files/bluej-31...

Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr

Interesting... When I used the images off the daily update site, the first one works great, but the second one boots to a curser on black screen. I can ssh and vnc into it and it's running, but doesn't recognize my hdmi/DVI cable like the first image. I opened the display properties over VPN and it...

Instead of posting snippets can you please post your complete source tree to a git repository. I would like to build and test your project on various devices using exactly same data files and source-code.

Re: Java OpenGL ES 2 bindings using JogAmp JOGL 2

I see thanks. Is it possible to develop a game in JOGL in Windows and then deploy it on Android without using any native code? Yes, jogamp provide all the native code required to get it working. CCT International have used the JOGL Android binding since its inception in 2011 to allow them to use th...

Re: Java OpenGL ES 2 bindings using JogAmp JOGL 2

Hello, I have two problems with JOGL on RPi. When I display a textured quad as a background in JOGL, fullscreen, on my computer in Windows it works perfectly fine, but when I use the same code, even the same compiled class files on RPi the quad doesn't cover the entire display. I know the code is c...

Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr

Just to complete the picture, the Rift or Vive are never going to run on a raspberry pi. They have closed source hardware drivers. The rift's linux "libovr" can be compiled for the pi using the oculusvr-sdk the old oculusvr-sdk 0.3.* branch works on any platform (no blob) the rift is a generic HID ...

Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr

Sweet! So does it only support OpenGL 2 or can my game http://aeonalpha.com that uses OpenGL 1 mostly (I use shaders for VR barrel and chromatic aberration) run on this. BTW if this can run old OpenGL I'm going to build a Pi VR headset at some point, maybe RPi 3 if it's powerful enough! Using OpenG...

Re: sigHandler : unhandled signal 11, terminating

check to make sure that the pi does not signal under-voltage, because if it does then you may get bit-flips that can make any application crash. the pi signals low power if the power led blinks and if you have a hdmi cable attached, then look if you occasionally see a rainbow square in the top right...
